Elderly couple robbed at Prospect

Holden Hill patrols are searching the Prospect area after a man entered an elderly couple's home in Labrina Street and stole a wallet. 

 

House fire - Smithfield Plains

Sorry for the delay this morning – I've had major computer issues. 

Fire cause investigators along with Elizabeth CIB are investigating an overnight house fire at an unoccupied house at Smithfield Plains. 

Just before 2am, police and fire crews were called to the blaze on Southan Street, the house was well alight on arrival and was house completely gutted by the fire.

Motorists are advised to take care on the roads this morning.  Overnight showers and fog in some areas will make driving hazardous especially in the Adelaide Hills.  Please slow down and drive to the conditions.

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
