Have you seen this bike? Stolen from Hyde Park

Police are investigating the theft of a $6,700 bicycle from the rear of a business premises at Hyde Park yesterday morning. 

At about 11.50am, a witness saw a man walk around the back of 'Mega Bike' bicycle store on King William Road and take a bike belonging to one of the staff members. 

The stolen bike is a men's Avant De Rosa racing bike and black in colour.  Stolen bicycle

It is made of carbon fibre, has black Fulcrum racing wheels with a Polair CS500 Heart rate monitor on the handle bars.  

The bike isn't available for purchase in Australia. 

The suspect is described as a man of Caucasian appearance, 177cm tall, stocky build and dark short hair with a scruffy appearance and wearing jeans.

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
