Take care around school zones
Police urge motorists to take extra care on the road this week as children return for the first day of school for the new year.
With the excitement of either starting school for the first time or seeing friends again, some students may forget their road rules.
Therefore motorists are urged to use extra caution around school crossings and school zones.
There will be extra activity on most roads this morning especially close to schools.
Police will be enforcing speed limits around school crossings and school zones for everyone's safety, so please slow down.
Parents are also asked not to stop their cars in 'No standing Zones' around school crossings or double parking when dropping kids of at school.
