Drugs arrest at Seaton

Earlier today Western Adelaide Detectives searched a house at Seaton and located a room allegedly containing hydroponic drug equipment, about 5kgs of dried cannabis and 10 grams of methyl amphetamine.

This seizure of methyl amphetamine equates to approximately 100 street deals.

As a result a 34-year-old man from Seaton was arrested and charged with possessing prescribed equipment, trafficking a large commercial quantity of cannabis and trafficking a controlled drug.

The arrested man has been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 14 March, 2012. Anyone with information on any illicit drugs is asked to contact BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report online at www.sa.crimestoppers.com.au

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
