Surf wear stolen over weekend
Police are asking members of the public to be wary if offered cheap surf wear including wetsuits, clothing, sunglasses and watches at prices too good to be true; as there's a possibility the surf wear could be stolen following a break-in at Streaky Bay over the weekend.
Overnight on Friday, a local surf shop in Bay Road was broken into and offenders stole a large quantity of stock to the valued at about $30,000.
Don't forget it is an offence to buy or be in possession of any property knowing it is stolen or has been unlawfully obtained.
If you are offered cheap surf wear or have any information about the theft, please call BankSA Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.sa.crimestoppers.com.au
