Police looking into optical store break-in's - southern suburbs
Police are investigating two break-in's on optical stores at Edwardstown and Glenelg East over the weekend.
The first incident occurred at Black Forest Optical Store on South Road at Edwardstown sometime between 6.00pm on Friday 3 February and 8.55am on Saturday 4 February 2012.
The Suspects stole an amount of cash as well as Oakley, Addidas and Oroton brand sunglasses, a total value of $9000.
At about 6.15am on Sunday 5 February, a silent alarm was activated at Salflon Eyewear located on Anzac Highway, Glenelg East.
The suspect fled the business empty handed.
Police are investigating any links to the incidents.
