Elderly woman in hospital

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the admission of an elderly woman to hospital on Friday after she was found unconscious in her home. 

While this is likely to be a medical episode given her previous history police are yet to establish this.

The 82-year-old woman from Kent Town remains in hospital in a serious condition.

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
