Man arrested for sexual assault

Detectives from the Crime Gangs Task Force and the Sexual Crime Investigation Branch have today arrested a 46-year-old man from the western suburbs and charged him with one count of rape and 14 counts of aggravated assault, which are alleged to have occurred in the north eastern suburbs between 2009 and 2011.

The arrested man has been refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrate Court tomorrow.

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
