Theft of bus tickets

Police are investigating the theft of a large quantity of bus tickets from a convenience store in Grenfell Street, Adelaide.

At about 1pm on Wednesday 22 February, a man entered the store and asked to buy a bus ticket.

Instead, he grabbed a large quantity of tickets and ran out of the store, heading south across Grenfell Street.

The man is described as Caucasian, about 25-years-old, 183cm tall, slim build, wearing black pants and a black t-shirt.

Police are also investigating a similar theft of bus tickets from a convenience store in Pirie Street, Adelaide, that occurred on Wednesday 15 February.

Police urge all sellers to be vigilant when putting items for sale on the counter or within easy reach of customers.

Police ask anyone who is approached and offered cheap bus tickets for sale to contact the police assistance line on 131444.

Woman armed with scissors robs store

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at Smokemart on Tapleys Hill Road, Seaton.

At about 2.30am on Thursday 10 May, a young woman entered the store armed with scissors, threatened the staff member and stole cash.
